A Look Inside Author Visits

"I enjoy giving! It brings me joy. I love to see the happy expressions on the children's faces. I can truly say writing and illustrating children's books is just the foundation. Giving freely to our youth and providing a sense of encouragement and joy is the overall benefit of it all! I wish I could give every young one a children's book for inspiration & for them to know that creativity is endless." - Charlene J. Woolard

Author Visit at Ridgewood Elementary School

Students in Mrs. Potter's and Mrs. Griffin's Kindergarten classes at Ridgewood Elementary School recently hosted children's author and illustrator, Charlene J. Woolard. She read two of her books, "The Marvelous Colors of a Lollipop" and "My Brother Makes Me Laugh." She also brought lunch sacks and treats for the students to take home. Students followed up on her visit by writing a response to literature.
